Careers - September 2026
The program prepares graduates for a number of progressive careers that support children, youth and families in the areas of curriculum implementation and co-ordination, program development and co-ordination, and social policy work. Graduates meet the academic requirements for registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario qualifying them for employment as Registered Early Childhood Educators. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and Wilfrid Laurier University have an agreement that allows top ranking graduates of the Early Learning Program Development degree a pathway for admission into the Bachelor of Education – primary/junior stream.
On average, 100% of co-op and 86% of non co-op graduates from 2020 to 2022 found employment within six months of graduation.
